Ollantaytambo: Town located 90 km away from Cusco, built by Pachacutec to watch over the entrance to the valley and protect it from possible invasion from the tribes of the jungle. Ollantaytambo was the headquarters of Manco Inca and from there organized the attack against Hernando Pizarro out victorious and that battle is remembered as the greatest victory of Manco Inca against the Spanish.
